Care information

My wooden items are made for everyday use and are suitable for hot or cold food items.
Please note with wooden cups do not to pour hot water directly into them on first few uses as this may cause cracking. Hot drinks poured and left to cool in a teapot or caffettiera are fine, or you can slowly build up the tolerance of your cup by increasing the temperature of water each time you use it.

Wood items can be hand washed with soap and water. Please do not leave to soak in water for long periods and never put them in the dishwasher.

You may notice a little slightly oily taste on oiled items but this will disappear after a few uses. If you want to maintain the fresh look you can oil your items with a curing, food safe oil.

Please appreciate with wooden items that there will be natural changes that occur over time, all add to the age and character of the vessel.

RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
Returns and damages
​
All items may be returned within 14 days of receipt so long as they are returned in their original condition and packaging. Should an item not be returned in adequate condition for resale Jack Labanowski reserves the right to only offer a partial refund. The cost of post and packaging will be at your own expense and only the value of the item(s) will be refunded.

Should you wish to make an exchange you will need to pay any outstanding balance for the difference in cost of products plus any additional postage incurred before the replacement item will be sent.

If an item arrives damaged or you believe there to be something wrong with it please contact Jack at jacklab70@hotmail.com to discuss the problem within 7 days of receipt. You must provide photographic evidence of the damage or issue and in the case of damage include photographs of the packaging that the item arrived in as well. Jack will either arrange with you to send a replacement or issue a full refund provided the required evidence is valid.
